Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get started?

Send us a message with your project details. We’ll get back to you within one business day to let you know if it’s a good fit, answer questions and schedule a scan. You can then mail your product to our studio in Seattle.

How long does it take to complete a scan?

Once we’ve received your product, you can expect to have a model ready in about a week. This can vary depending on the complexity of the model and the volume of the order.

Can I include specific photo angles in my model?

Yes! We’ll tailor our photoshoot to capture the exact details you need to showcase.

What do I receive when I order a model?

We create a set of compressed digital assets that are compatible with our viewer. Ordering a model lets you embed the viewer on your site using these assets. We also provide a high resolution PNG for each included viewpoint.

How do I load the model in my store?

The default viewer can be loaded by including two simple lines of HTML on your page. For more information, check out our documentation.

What process do you use to create these models?

We use photogrammetry coupled with an arsenal of fine-tuned, custom reconstruction techniques that allow us to capture geometric detail in a dynamic & customizable studio lighting arrangement. We’ve engineered a highly-automated set of internal processes that allow us to retain a higher level of photorealistic detail than any other web-based 3D solution.

Will the viewer run on every device?

Yes! Desktop, tablet and mobile devices are supported. The viewer also runs smoothly inside of a WebView on native apps.

What web hosting platforms do the models work on?

The viewer will work in any web hosting platform that allows you to include custom HTML. These include Shopify, BigCommerce, Squarespace, Wix and many more.

Do your models work with augmented reality technology?

Yes, in addition to providing assets that run in our viewer, we can provide you with standard GLB and USDZ models that will work across AR platforms. However, our models are optimized for use in our viewer and will not retain the same clarity of detail when used in an AR environment.

Can I host on my own hardware?

Yes, we offer self-hosted builds of the viewer so that it can run on your company’s existing infrastructure.

I already have existing high-quality 3D assets. Can I use the viewer for these?

Potentially! Please let us know about your specific use case.
